The advancement of Australia’s Indigenous people is a core responsibility for ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ National University (ANU).
As Australia’s only national university, ANU drives research, debate, dialogue, advocacy, and analysis on the relationship between Indigenous Australians and the Australian nation.
In 2020, ANU established the First Nations Portfolio (FNP) to strengthen this nation-building role and ensure that ANU contributes meaningfully to national policy and dialogue.
FNP is led by inaugural Vice-President (First Nations) Professor Peter Yu, a Yawuru man from Broome with more than 40 years of experience in Indigenous development and advocacy in the Kimberley and at the state, national and international level.
![ANU is home to Gadi, a high-performance supercomputer at the National Computational Infrastructure (NCI) used by 7500+ researchers across the University and the country.
