Student transition and retention support

Are you from a traditionally underrepresented background and would like to share your experience at ANU to help us get a better understanding of the challenges you face and where you find support?

We are looking for current undergraduate domestic students who identify as coming from a traditionally underrepresented background (i.e. Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, first-generation to attend university, from a rural or remote location, from a low-socioeconomic background or students with a disability) to participate in an individual interview to share your experiences and feelings on your time with the University.

The findings of this study may have important implications for the programs we run to support students from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds at ANU allowing us to improve our support and services.

This interview will be conducted via Zoom, preferably recorded to minimise misunderstanding what was said, and will take approximately an hour to complete. Eligible students who participate in an interview will receive a $20 digital gift voucher as a thank you for their time. Register your interest to participate here:
