ANU+ Volunteer Fair

Looking for ways to give back, meet new people and make a meaningful impact during your time at ANU? The ANU+ Volunteer Fair is a great place to start.

Date: Wednesday, 18 March

Location: The Gallery, Level 2, Lowitja O’Donoghue Cultural Centre (Kambri)

Two sessions are available: 10 – 11am and 11am – 12pm

Please register for one session only and attend the session you selected.

The Volunteer Fair is an opportunity to meet a range of community organisations and explore volunteering opportunities available to ANU students. Organisations attending the fair work across areas such as environmental conservation, animal welfare, health services, arts and culture, social support, and advocacy for women and children.

This is a relaxed and welcoming event where you can chat directly with organisation representatives, ask questions and learn how to get involved in causes that interest you. Whether you are already volunteering or simply curious about getting started, the fair is a great way to explore opportunities to contribute to the community during Semester 1.

Volunteering is also a key part of the ANU+ Award program, which recognises students who contribute to the community while developing valuable personal and professional skills.

By attending the Volunteer Fair, you can:
• Discover volunteering opportunities across Canberra
• Connect with organisations making a difference in the community
• Build skills and experiences beyond the classroom
• Take the first step in your ANU+ Award journey

Students who attend and engage with organisations will receive a free ANU hat.

Spaces are limited, so registration is required.
